Gabriel Calvo Zarraute

Gabriel Calvo Zarraute is a priest of the Primate Archdiocese of Toledo and a rural parish priest in the Montes de Toledo region. He holds a Diploma in Teaching and obtained degrees in Fundamental Theology, Church History, and Canon Law.He also earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Philosophy. Between 2014 and 2018, he served as a lecturer at the Diocesan Centre for Theology in Getafe. He is currently pursuing a Doctorate in Church History at the University of San Damaso and is a professor at the Institute of Religious Sciences in Talavera de la Reina. He previously served as parish priest in Buenaventura and Sotillo de las Palomas from 2008 to 2014.Gabriel Calvo Zarraute contributes to various online publications and is a regular writer for the portal Infovaticana. He also collaborates on the programme ‘Teatro Crítico’ with the Gustavo Bueno Foundation; on channels such as El Toro TV, Alto y Claro TV, Rincón de Historia TV, Tradición Viva TV, and Matices; and is a panellist on the programme ‘La Sacristía de la Vendée,’ a counter-revolutionary clerical debate forum.He has published several books, including ‘De la crisis de fe a la descomposición de España’ (From the Crisis of Faith to the Breakdown of Spain) in 2021, and ‘De Roma a Berlín (Volumen I). La protestantización de la Iglesia Católica’ (From Rome to Berlin, Volume I: The Protestantisation of the Catholic Church) in 2022, both under the Bibliotheca Homo Legens imprint.
